Fitzroy Street St. Kilda is a vibrant and dynamic environment near to the St. Kilda foreshore.  It is a major tourist destination well known for its restaurants and cafes.

The area attracts a wide range of users and has a high level of criminal and anti-social behaviour.  An assessment was undertaken to understand the factors impacting on safety along the street, with particular focus on one street corner and the adjacent street. The aim was to identify ways Council could support other agencies to address situational crime prevention issues through more effective management of the street environment.
