Major redevelopment of parklands into iconic regional recreation attraction that includes Werribee River which is prone to flooding and is a natural habitat for native animals. The park is adjacent to major shopping precinct and is central to revitalisation of the city. Stage 1 recently completed and stage 2 (refurbishment of the Riverbank promenade will commence soon.
